Two LeT militant gun down in Doda

Jammu, Dec 27 (UNI) Two Lashkar-e-Toiba militants, including one of the most wanted ultra and LeT commander Ashraf Ganie, were gunned down in an encounter here today, official sources said.

Sources said the troops of 8 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and Doda police, acting on tip-off that LeT militants had taken shelter at Udhanipur in Doda police station this afternoon.

After three hours of fierce gun-battle between security forces and militants, two ultras were eliminated. They have been identified as Ashraf Ganie and Marrof.
