Two drowned in Koel river

Rourkela, Dec 27(UNI) In a tragic incident, two children of a police constable were drowned in Koel river at Dalangaswar, about 70 kms from here yesterday.

Police today said Bisra outpost constable Poulus Tirkey's son Ankur Tirkey(13) and daughter Aliva Tirkey(10) were drowned while taking bath in Koel river.

The bodies were later recovered from the river and sent for post mortem.
