P C Haldar takes over as IB Chief
New Delhi, Dec 27 (UNI) Mr P C Haldar has been appointed as the Chief of the Intelligence Bureau (IB), it was officially announced today.
Mr Haldar, who is at present special Director in the IB, will succeed Mr E S L Narasimham who is retiring on December 31.
A 1970 Bihar cadre IPS officer, Mr Haldar will hold the post for a fixed tenure of two years.
