MCD seals 96 units in Najafgarh, Civil line

New Delhi, Dec 27 (UNI) The Municipal Corporation of Delhi today sealed 96 units in Najafgarh, Civil lines and central zones.

In today's drive, the MCD sealed 74 units fromt Palam Extension to Dwarka Sector-7 near Harijan Basti falling in Najafgarh Zone while 12 units were sealed at Police Line Road and Polo Road falling in Civil Lines, a spokesperson of the corporation said.

The remaining 10 units were sealed at C V Raman Marg, New Friends Colony falling in Central Zone.

With today's sealing, the total number of units sealed since the resumption of the drive on November 8 as per the orders of the Supreme Court is 3649.

Meanwhile, the MCD today announced that zonal citizen bureau situated in all 12 zones would help traders in online registration of their shops.

The MCD spokesperson said that keeping in view the demand of traders, the MCD has made arrangements to help traders file their online registration at Citizen Service Bureaus situated in all the 12 zonal offices.

The traders can go to the bureau where the staff would be available to help them in filing their registration online.

They would be provided with registration ID No.

on the printed format. They would subsequently be required to deposit the printed format along with draft and necessary documents at Easy Bill centres.

As per the directive of the Supreme Court, all traders having shops in the 2183 notified areas have to carry out online registration of their shops by December 31.
