Indoco Remedies moots amalgamation with subsidiary

New Delhi, Dec 27 (UNI) Indoco Remedies Ltd today said it is contemplating the amalgamation of its fully-owned subsidiary La Nova Chem (India) Pvt Ltd, having an active pharmaceutical ingredient manufacturing facility at Patalganga, with itself.

The company also said it is in favour of acquiring the pharmaceutical business of its associate company, SPA Pharmaceutical Pvt Ltd, through the legal demerger process.

The company is in the process of carrying out the required valuations, and expects to put up a proposal to the board of directors for their consideration, a statement said.
