Haryana to finalise State Vigilance Commission Act
Chandigarh, Dec 27 (UNI) The Haryana government is considering finalisation the State Vigilance Commission Act on the guidelines of the Union Government.
Haryana Chief Secretary Prem Prashant said the Vigilance Commission would not be based on any particular cadre but would have representation of various retired officers of different cadres.
He said the backlog of the vacancies of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes in various departments would soon be filled up.
To a question about the demand of the Haryana Employees' Union for constituting a separate Pay Commission, he said the state government had been implementing the guidelines framed by the Central Pay Commission. However, the demand of the Union was under consideration.
