Enforcement Dept destroys Ganja tree

Agartala, Dec 27 (UNI) The Enforcement branch of Tripura Police has destroyed around 26,000 illegal Ganja trees under Ranibazar police station in Tripura's West district yesterday.

Official sources said today that a team of Enforcement branch raided Keprambari, Noagoan, Assampara, Bagbari village under Ranirbazar sub-division and destroyed ganja plants cultivated illegally in vast areas of land.

Meanwhile, in another raid, the Gandacherra police in South District recovered a country made pistol from the house of one Dhani Ram of Tripura and arrested him.
