Enforcement Dept. destroys Ganja tree

Agartala, Dec 27: The Enforcement Branch of the state police have destroyed about 26,000 illegal ganja trees under Ranibazar police station area in Tripura's West district.

According to official sources today, a team of Enforcement Branch yesterday raided Keprambari, Noagoan, Assampara, Bagbari village under Ranirbazar sub-division and destroyed contraband ganja plants cultivated illegally in a vast areas.

Meanwhile, in another raid Gandacherra police in South District recovered a country made pistol from a house of one Dhani Ram Tripura. He was arrested.
