Congress MLAs submit memorandum to APSPDL

Tirupati, Dec 27 (UNI) Two Congress legislators -- Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu and Narayana Swamy today submitted a memorandum to Andhra Pradesh Southern Power Distribution Limited's (APSPDL) Chairman and Managing Director Gopal Reddy urging him to supply uninterrupted seven-hour-long power supply to farmers in Chittoor District.

Talking to reporters here, the duo said the farmers in Chittoor district were unhappy over the insufficient supply of power.

The duo charged the TDP with politicising power issue for political mileage.

Meanwhile, a group of farmers at Dusu Kuppam near here attacked an electricity office to protest against interrupted power supply.
