Cong MLAs demand uninterrupted power
Hyderabad, Dec 27 (UNI) Congress MLAs M Sasidhara Reddy and P Janardhana Reddy today demanded the Andhra Pradesh government should supply seven hours of uninterrupted power to farmers as promised by the government.
Addressing a press conference here, the MLAs said the farmers in the state had been suffering due to inadequate power supply.
It was unfortunate that the farmers were not getting sufficient power, though sufficient water was available in all the reservoirs due to adequate rains this year.
They said the industrial production would decline if the government imposed power cut in the cities and towns.
