Tamil Nadu: Bus plunges into river, six killed

Thanjavur, Dec 27: Six passengers were killed and 25 others injured when the state transport corporation bus, in which they were travelling, fell into a river near Pattukottai in this district this morning.

The bus was proceeding to Thondi from Muthupettai when it plunged into Nasuveni river at 0430 hrs.

The inured were admitted to Pattukottai and Thanjavur govt hospital.
