Ancient idols missing from Jain temple
Lucknow, Dec 27 (UNI) Unidentified miscreants burgled a Jain temple and decamped with two ancient 'ashtadhatu' idols in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh.
Police today said the incident occurred in Kakrauli town, where two 'ashtadhatu' idols of Bhagwan Shri were found missing from an ancient Jain Panchayati temple last night.
Irked over the incident, Kakrauli traders called a 'bandh' today.
A hunt is on to nab the culprits.
