3 killed in car-truck collision

Tumkur, Karnataka, Dec 27 (UNI) Three persons from Hyderabad were killed and four seriously injured when their car collided head-on with a truck near Sira town in the district today.

Police said the victims were proceeding to Hiriyur when the mishap occurred.

The police reached the spot immediately and helped to rush the injured to the hospital and clear traffic on the busy Bangalore-Pune National Highway. The injured were admitted to the Sira General Hospital.
