Veterinary college at Rewa
Bhopal, Dec 26 (UNI) The veterinary and animal husbandry college at Rewa will start functioning from July next year.
Two such institutions- the veterinary college at Mhow and another at Jabalpur- were set up before the formation of Madhya Pradesh, while a veterinary college was set up at Durg in undivided Madhya Pradesh in the 80s.
Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Minister Ramakant Tiwari said the college at Rewa would be set up at a cost of Rs 42 crore, while Rs 5 crore would be provided annually for the salary, allowances and other expenditure.
The college would be set up at the agriculture research farm at village Kuthalia and a total of 109 teaching staff and 99 non-teaching staff had been sanctioned.
