6 Indians arrested for travelling on fake visas

Dubai, Dec 26: Six Indians, who arrived at the SharjahInternational Airport on fake visas and travel documents a couple ofdays ago, have been detained by the immigration authorities.

The Indian consulate said the men would be deported immediately.

The fake visas were detected by immigration officials, whoimmediately seized their passports. The men, who arrived on an IndianAirlines flight from Kozikode and Kannur in Kerala, hold return tickets.

An airport immigration official told Gulf News the traveldocuments were not genuine and the men were not allowed to leave theairport.
