ULFA's 'lance corporal' surrenders

Guwahati, Dec 25 (UNI) A 'lance corporal' of the ULFA's main strike wing surrendered before the Army at Maibella in Sibsagar district of Upper Asom today.

The surrendered militant, Biswajit Borah alias Raktim Suraj Gogoi, was associated with organisational activities of the outfit with 'B' company of the 28th battalion.

He laid down a grenade and a detonator, besides other explosives.

Borah had joined the outfit in December, 2003 and had trained at Myanmar camp of the ULFA.
