Two drown in lake

Chennai, Dec 25 (UNI) Two people drowned in Puzhal lake at suburb Ambattur here today whil they were having bath.

Police said, a 12-year-old boy Dineshraj of Krishnagiri, who came here as a guest, went to take bath in the lake, accidentally went to the deep water and got drowned.

Neelakandan (28) the boy's relative, who attempted to save the boy also drowned.

Later the bodies were fished out from the lake and sent to the Government Kilpauk Medical College Hospital for post-mortem, police added.
