Digvijay shown black flags

Ujjain, MP, Dec 25 (UNI) Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh was shown black flags by the members of Kshatriya Mahasabha (KM) while he was on the way to attend a programme organised by the Rajput Samaj.

Two organisations of the KM are working here and a two-day convention of the Mahasabha was organised by one of them. The programmed started yesterday and Mr Singh was also invited.

A delegation led by Mr Anil Singh Chandel, District President of the other group, had met Mr Singh and asked him not to attend the programme, as it was being organised in a fake manner.

Mr Singh asked the members of the community to sit and resolve the problem.

However, Mr Singh's way was blocked near Chamunda Mata Mandir square when he was heading for the programme.

Mr Singh came out of his car and drove away the workers. Later, agitated workers gheraoed a police station demanding registering a case against him.

Mr Chandel was sent for medical examination and admitted to a hospital.

Meanwhile, other KM group condemned stopping of Mr Singh's car and lodged a complaint against Mr Chandel.
