MP, Goa in Ranji clash

Indore, Dec 24 (UNI) Hosts Madhya Pradesh will lock horns with Goa in a Ranji Trophy Plate Group A league match, a four-day encounter that gets underway on Christmas Day at the Usha Raje Stadium here.

The encounter will be Madhya Pradesh's fifth and last league match. Both teams have played four matches each but are yet to score any points. The hosts, led by Abbas Ali, will try and improve their performance on home turf.

The visitors, who reached here yesterday, are being captained by S A Asnodkar.
