Explosion rocks Afghan capital, eight hurt

Kabul, Dec 22: A suicide bomb attack on an Afghan member of parliament wounded at least eight people in the capital today, police said.

Five of the wounded were passersby and three were bodyguards of the MP, Padshah Khan Zadran. No further details were immediately available.

The city was hit by a series of suicide attacks between August and October that killed several people, mainly civilians.
