Chennai to host fourth Asia for Animals meet

Chennai, Dec 22: About 300 delegates from 30 countries will participate in the fourth international Asia for Animals Conference to be held here from Janury 10 to 12.

In a press release, Blue Cross of India said delegates from United States, Canada, Australia, several Asian countries, including Georgia, Iran, Vietnam, China, Taiwan, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Singapore and Hong Kong and 50 delegates from Austria, France, Switzerland, Germany, Italy and United Kingdom will be among the participants.

The conference will have technical sessions on global issues, role of government agencies, farm animals, animals being used for research and religion and animal welfare.
