BJP constitutes committee for national level agitation

Lucknow, Dec 22: BJP president Rajnath Singh tonight constituted an eight member high level team, headed by vice-president Venkiah Naidu, to draw up a strategy to launch a national level agitation against price hike, minority appeasement, nuclear deal and other prominent issues.

Mr Singh constituted the committee during the discussions on the resolutions 'Aam Admi ke Saath Viswasghat'(betrayal with common man) and the ''appeasement policy'' and internal security placed before the national executive meeting here.

The committee will monitor and chalk out plans for sustaining agitational programme at the national level.

The details about the agitation would be announced on December 24 after conclusion of the national council meeting.

Other members of the committee are; Anant Kumar, Vinay Katiyar, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Thawar Chand Gehlot, Dharmendra Pradhan , Prakash Javerkar and Karuna Shukla.

Meanwhile, in the last phase of the national executive meeting, the state presidents tabled their reports and achievements before the leaders.
