Youth shot dead

Kolkata, Dec 21 (UNI) Tension prevailed in the Sealdah station area after a youth was shot dead by unidentified miscreants this evening.

Police said the incident took place in the rush hours in the evening when a miscreant shot a youth from point-blank distance in Sisir market adjecent to the station.

The youth was rushed to the NRS Medical College and Hospital where he was declared brought dead.

A big posse of police have been deployed in the bazar area.

No one has been arrested yet. police is investigating the case.
