Warrant against MLA

Chhapra, Dec 21 (UNI) A local court today issued warrant of arrest against an independent MLA from Marhaura, Lal Babu Rai and his two associates in connection with a murder case Chief judicial magistrate H N Shukla ordered Saran police superintendent Sanjay Singh to execute the warrant and produce all the accused before the court on January 16, 2007.

The court issued warrants against the accused following the complaint of the relative of the deceased Naresh Rai, alleging that police closed the case without invstigating the matter properly.

Besides independent MLA, his two associates -- Ram Shakal Rai and Ram Pravesh Rai were accused in a case relating to murder of one Naresh Rai of Marhaura on Decmber 1, 1998.
