Trade worth Rs 2,543 crore transacted on NCDEX

Mumbai, Dec 21 (UNI) As many as 2,864 users of the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchanges (NCDEX) today participated in trading worth Rs 2,543 crore (one way) upto 1700 hrs.

There were 78,650 trades put through by them.

Active trades were high in guarseeds, chana, refind soy oil, soya bean, gold and jeera. said an NCDEX release.

Yesterday, 280 members participated in trading and put through more than 92,960 trades. The volume for the whole day trading till 2330 hrs was Rs 3,244 crore (one way). Active trades were in chana, guarseed, gold, silver, jeera and soya bean, the release added.
