Sugar prices rise in Kolhapur

Kolhapur, Dec 21 (UNI) The prices of M-30 and S-30 grades of sugar today rose by Rs 20 per quintal to Rs 1,590/1,595 and Rs 1,580/1,585 per quintal respectively.

The rates in the Kolhapur gur market today ranged between Rs 1,400 and Rs 1,800 per quintal.

There was no trading in the Sangli turmeric futures market while turmeric spot rate increased by Rs 25 per quintal to Rs 2,200 per quintal.
