Sudha Pillai appoited Sec, Labour and Employment

New Delhi, Dec 21 (UNI) Ms Sudha Pillai has been appointed as the Secretary in the Ministry of Labour and Employment.

Ms Pillai is an IAS officer of Kerala cadre. The 1972 batch officer was presently Principal Adviser to Planning Commission.

Dr Chandra Pal has been appointed as the Secretary in the Ministry of Small Scale Industries and Ministry of Agro and Rural Industries.

Dr Pal, an IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre was the Principal Adviser in the Planning Commission.

The appointments Committee of the Cabinet has also approved the extension of the tenure of Mr V Thulsidas, IAS officer of 1972 batch as the CMD, Air India untill further orders, an official release said here today.
