Precious metals decline on weak global advices
Mumbai, Dec 21 (UNI) Both the Precious metals declined on weak global advices with Silver down by Rs 130 per kg and Gold by Rs 30 per ten gm on the Bombay Bullion Exchange today.
Silver fineness opened low at Rs 19,155 per kg on thin buying support. Later, it closed at the same level on moderate demand with a huge loss of Rs 130 per kg, from yesterday's close.
In London, the white metal was quoted low at USD 12.50/12.56 per troy ounce against USD 12.71/12.75 per troy ounce in New York.
Similarly, standard Gold (99.5) and pure Gold (99.9) also opened downwards at Rs 9,040 and Rs 9,090 per ten gm respectively on poor demand.
The yellow metal drifted lower and closed at Rs 9025 and Rs 9075 per ten grams with a loss of Rs 30 each from its last close.
In London, the yellow metal fell at USD 620.10/622.00 per troy ounce as compared to USD 623.10/624.50 per troy ounce at New York on Wednesday.
