Police Inspector among 25 looted

Sehore (MP), Dec 21 (UNI) A Police Inspector was among 25 passengers of a private bus looted by 5 armed criminals at the bypass road here last night, police said.

Cash, mobile phone sets and other valuables worth Rs one lakh were looted after two criminals seated near the driver forced him to stop the Bhopal-Indore bus at an isolated spot after firing in the air.

A Police Inspector posted in Dewas district was among those relieved of their belongings by the criminals, who were seated among the passengers. After the loot, they escaped in the darkness, police added.
