Kerala Govt for vigilance probe into project

Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 21 (UNI) The Kerala Government today decided to conduct a vigilance inquiry into the lapses in the implementation of the Kerala State Transport Project (KSTP), Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan said here.

He told newspersons here after a meeting of the State Cabinet that there were serious irregularities in the project.

The government was yet to receive the report of a committee appointed by it to go into the details of the award and implementation of the project, he added.
