Heritage train's coaches derail

Siliguri, Dec 21 (UNI) Three coaches of the Darjeeling Himalyan Railway (DHR) were derailed at Darjeeling more near here this morning.

However, there were no reports of any injury to the passengers, who were mostly holidaymakers travelling in the heritage train to Darjeeling.

Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) sources said of the four coaches, three derailed while negotiating a curve on the way to Darjeeling.

They said the train was brought back on the rails and halted when the reports last came in.
