Expelled Forward Bloc MLA Bhanu Pratap Shahi gets bail

Ranchi, Dec 21 (UNI) Jharkhand High Court today granted bail to jailed Forward Bloc MLA from Bhawnathpur Bhanu Pratap Shahi after he filed two sureties of Rs 10,000 each.

Justice R R Prasad granted the bail after hearing his petition Bhanu Pratap Shahi.

Counsel of Shahi, Rajesh Kumar pleaded before the court that his client was innocent and said charges against him were baseless.

Mr Shahi was in Garwah jail before he surrendered on Novemeber 1.
