Engineers assn demands members' promotion

Chennai, Dec 21 (UNI) Members of the Tamil Nadu Engineering Association observed a fast here today demanding, among other things, promotion of department's technical assistants and junior engineers as assistant engineers.

Association President Oorrkavalan said in a press release that engineer-in-chief Mr Rangaraj Gupta, who is functioning as the unauthorised president of the Association, was denying even genuine demands and rights of the Association members.
