Cyclonic pressure raises temperature in Rajasthan
Jaipur, Dec 21 (UNI) The cyclonic pressure in the upper reaches of northwestern Rajasthan has resulted in the rise of minimum temperature and provided relief to the people from the intense cold wave.
Several places in the state recorded a rise of 4 to 8 degrees Celsius in the day. Ganganagar recorded 7.8 degrees Celsius and remained the coldest today.
According to weather department, the cyclonic pressure is the reason behind the increase in temperature. The state capital recorded 12.8 degrees today.
Churu and Pilani recorded 9 degrees, Dabok 9.4, Barmer 10.2, Jaisalmer 11, Jodhpur 11.6, Kota 12, Ajmer 13 and Bikaner 14.5 degrees.
The weatherman has predicted a dry spell for the next 24 hours in most parts of the state. The temperature in Jaipur will hover around 10 degrees.
