CM will launch 'Varumun Kappom' on Dec 30

Chennai, Dec 21 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi would launch 'Varumun Kappom', a preventive medical scheme in Tiruvallur district on December 30, while his Ministerial colleagues would launch it in other districts.

Mr Karunanidhi would kick start the scheme at the Arignar Anna Higher Secondary School at suburban Poonamallee, and senior Minsiters K Anbazhagan in Chennai, Arcot N Veerasamy in Cuddalore, M K Stalin in Kancheepuram and Ko Si Mani in Thanjavur districts, an official release here said.

Under the scheme, atleast three medical camps would be conducted in each district. People could visit the camps and get screened and treated for various diseases.
