Ancient claypots found

Kancheepuram, Dec 21 (UNI) Labourers engaged in digging work for a drainage channel here this morning struck a veritable treasure trove when they found ancient claypots, panchaloha crown and a metal plate.

Sources said the workers discovered the archealogical treasure when they were digging up a road near the Angalamman Koil Street.

Later, Archeaological Society of India (ASI) was informed of the discovery.
