Yoga Peeth to purchase herbal medicines

Jabalpur, Dec 20 (UNI) Baba Ramdeo's Patanjali Yoga Peeth will purchase the entire stock of herbal medicines produced by Jabalpur Agriculture University.

This offer was made by the Yoga Guru while interacting with the agriculture scientists here yesterday. Ashwagandha, Aaonla, Bel, Tulsi, Sarpgandha and such plants would be more in demand, he said, adding the farmers would not henceforth face marketing problem.

University Vice Chancellor Dr Dhyanpal Singh said the university had preserved about 1100 species of medicinal plants.
