Vijayawada Book Festival from Jan 1

Vijayawada, Dec 20 (UNI) Publishers from across the country will participate at the 18th 'Vijayawada Book Festival' to be held here from January 1.

Talking to reporters here today, Vijayawada Book Festival Society President R Ramaswamy said Acharya Nagarjuna University Vice-Chancellor V Balamohan Das would inaugurate the festival.

The 11-day long event was arranged to inculcate reading habit among the young generation, he said adding publishers would release books.

About 250 book stalls would be set up at the book festival.
