Two undertrials make good their escape

Jalandhar, Dec 20 (UNI) Two undertrial who were arrested on theft cases fled from police custody from the district court premises here today.

A police spokesman said that the accused Sonu and Rajendra were brought to the court for their case hearing. They succeeded in giving a slip to the police on the pretence of going to the toilet.

While Sonu hails from Uttar Pradesh, Rajendra belongs to Nepal, the spokesman said.

Police has launched a search for the duo, he added.
