Tatas to train Saudi employees at Pune plant
Dubai, Dec 20: The industrial house of Tatas is providing trainingto Saudi Arabian automobile engineers and technicians with the firstbatch of 10 people set to begin the training at its Pune plant shortly.
They would undergo training for a period ranging from three to sixmonths in the entire gamut of automobile engineering CEO of Mohamed AAlhamrani&Co Intertrade Ltd Ahmed H Dakhil said yesterday.
The company's decision to get the Saudi employees trained is part of its ongoing Saudisation process.
The trainees, who will be paid a monthly stipend of Saudi Riyal1,000 during their internship but will be employed on a monthly salaryof about Riyal 3,000, he added.
The company would also send its trainees to Korea, where Tata has a car manufacturing base, he said.
