Sony Television unveils New Year bash plans for its viewers

Mumbai, Dec 20 (UNI) Sony Entertainment Television will ring in the new year with a star-studded night called 'Jhoom Ke Aaja, 2007', on December 31, 2200 hrs onwards.

A release from the channel here today said 'Jhoom Ke Aaja, 2007' would present a galaxy of stars who will sing, dance and bring cheer to couch potatoes.

The evening will start with performances by Ashley Lobo and his dancers to a song written by Javed Akthar and music by Aayaan and Aamaan Bangash, sons of Ustad Amjad Ali Khan.

Tamil actor-dancer Prabhudeva will take the stage and give a solo performance. He will be joined by Esha Deol. Both will dance to 'Chal Chaiya Chaiya' from film 'Dil Se'. Esha will also perform her sizzling 'Dhoom Macha de Dhoom'. Actor-filmmaker Sachin Pilgaonkar and his actress-wife Supriya along with Ritiesh Deshmukh will perform too.

The Bhojpuri industry will be represented by Manoj Tiwari. To add that extra dash of colour, Bipasha Basu will perform to the 'Beedi Jalile' number from 'Omkara'. Bappi Lahari in his typical style, will regale the audiences with some popular Bengali songs.

Harbajan Singh Mann will add a Punjabi flavour to the New Year celebrations by singing bhangra numbers.

Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra will be seen dancing to numbers like 'Just Chill Chill', 'Mein Hoon Don' and 'Kab Tak Jawani'.
