Slight intensity tremor rocks Thrissur

New Delhi, Dec 20 (UNI) A slight intensity earthquake shook this Kerala town and surrounding areas this evening.

The temblor, measuring 3.2 on the Richter Scale, was epicentered between 10.6 degrees north and 76.4 degrees east, according to a Meteorological department release here.

It occurred at 1920 hrs.

Window panes of some households were reportedly damaged during the quake.

However, no loss of life or property was reported.

The areas which felt the tremor included Thrissur town, the temple town of Guruvayoor, Desamangalam, Vadakancherry, Varavoor and Mattom.
