Six killed in road accidents

Hyderabad, Dec 20 (UNI) Six persons were killed and five others injured in two separate road accidents in Andhra Pradesh today.

Police said three labourers were killed and two others injured when a tractor in which they were travelling overturned near Markhaguda at indravelli mandal in Adilabad district. The three persons were killed on the spot. The injured were admitted to a local hospital.

In another accident, three people were killed on the spot and an equal number injured when an autorickshaw in which they were travelling collided with a van near Kamalapur village in this district today.

Police said the autorickshaw was proceeding from Gundlapalli to Kamapalur, when the mishap occurred.

The injured were admitted to Kadapa governmet hospital.
