Seetharam's nomination as Sanskrit body's founder-member stayed

Bangalore, Dec 20 (UNI) The Karnataka High Court today stayed for four weeks the operation of a Governent Order, dated November six last, nominating Mr C N Seetharam as Founder-Member of the Academy of Sanskrit Research, Melkote.

Mr Justice Abdul Nazeer passed the interim order on an interlocutory application by the Academy on a writ petition, challenging the order of the Commissioner of Endowments appointing the Principal of Maharaja Sanskrit College, Mysore, as the Director of the Academy.
