Rains likely in UP, Haryana, Punjab, TN, Kerala

Pune, Dec 20 (UNI) Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, north Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep.

Very light rain occurred at isolated places in Tamil Nadu.

Rain or snow is likely to occur at a few places in Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir.

Cold wave conditions prevailed in Jammu and Kashmir.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in south madhya Maharashtra and in parts of southwest Rajasthan and Marathwada and were below normal in Telangana and coastal Karnataka and in parts of east Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh and interior Karnataka.

They were appreciaby to markedly above normal in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Haryana and remaining parts of west Rajasthan and were above normal in Assam and Meghalaya, West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar, Punjab and Saurashtra and remaining parts of Uttar Pradesh. They were normal in rest of the country.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over east Uttar Pradesh, south Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
