PCC Chief expresses shock at murder

Hyderabad, Dec 20 (UNI) Pradesh Congress Chief and Parliament Member Dr K Keshava Rao today expressed shock and grief at the demise of Ms Grandhi Madhavi, former MLA and and an activist of the Congress party late last night.

Ms Madhavi, who initially was elected from the Telugu Desam party to the Assembly in 1983, later joined the Congress. She was brutally stabbed to death by unknown assailants in her Jubilee Hills residence.

In a statement, Dr Keshava Rao said Ms Madhavi was an active leader of the Congress party and rendered valuable services to the organisation in different capacities.

He conveyed his condolences to the members of the bereaved family.
