Ranchi, Dec 20 (UNI) The Jharkhand government will issue a notification to recognise Bangla as the second language of the state.
Deputy Chief Minister Stephen Marandi while replying to a question of BJP's C P Singh, said in principle state government had already recognised the language, but the notification in this regard was yet to be issued.

Meanwhile, the Opposition BJP demanded to provide the status of second language to all the languages spoken in the state as mentioned in the eighth schedule of the Constitution.
Earlier, the matter of establishing minority commission, WAQF board and minority finance commission was also raised by Sukhdeo Bhagat (Congress).
