North AP reels under cold wave conditions

Visakhapatnam, Dec 20 (UNI) The North Coastal Andhra is reeling under cold wave conditions due to continental winds from the north eastern direction.

A Cyclone Warning Centre spokesman said the temperatures fell drastically in the last one week with Chintapalli Agency Area recording five Degree Celsius during the last 48 hrs.

The sudden fall in temperature has disrupted flight operations and road traffic. The current condition is expected to continue for an another week with the mercury dipping further, he added.
