MP to launch youth mission

Bhopal, Dec 20 (UNI) A youth mission will be launched in Madhya Pradesh at the youth panchayat here on January 12 to augment employment opportunities, skill upgradation and to channelise youth energy in social service.

This was decided at a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan here yesterday. The Youth Mission would be set up by the Chief Minister's office.

He said various schemes were being implemented with the cooperation of international institutions to augment employment opportunities for the families living below poverty line.

The Tourism department had launched courses of six month to one-year duration for upgrading skills of unemployed.
