Man arrested for threatening to blow US Visa Centre

Jalandhar, Dec 20 (UNI) A man was today arrested for allegedly threatening to blow-up the US embassy authorised USA Visa Appication Collection Centre here, police said.

The alleged accused Tajinder Singh of nearby Hoshiarpur district was said to be frustated following denial of visa for his second trip to the US.

The accused came to the Centre today and threw some object in an envelop and started shouting that he had thrown a hand grenade.

He was also possessing a container of kerosene, the sources said.
